My wife and I wanted to take a moment to thank you and your staff for the excellent care and treatment of our daughter. She has been in your care for 2 plus years and we’re very pleased at her level of care.  No one understands how difficult that task of caring for her is. You have not only done a great job of caring for her, but have succeeded in helping her battle her great emotional and behavior issues.

Remember that prior to her being in your care she was averaging 10 to 15 hospital stays a year. During her care with you she has had 1 very short visit to the hospital. Her behavior has progressed to levels that we thought were not possible. She is starting to learn self control. But compared to where she started you guys have performed beyond expectations.

We greatly appreciate that when questions or concerns have occurred the staff has done a great job of responding to them. The communication between staff and our family has been excellent. Her successes would not have been possible without the hard work and dedication of your staff. Please express to your staff our sincere appreciation for the excellent job they’ve done.

Thank You.

I am the (relative) of a resident at (one of the homes). My (relative) has been under their care for over two years. My (relative) is better-behaved now than he ever was. He has manners and is well behaved. I can take him shopping with me and sometimes we just go look for things and he understands now that he doesn’t have to buy something every time we go to the store. The staff is pleasant and caring and (my relative) is well taken care of.

Family Member

My son’s (and our families) life before Community Support Partners (CSP) was truly different.  One of my main concerns was his constant elopement.  He would be at his home one minute then within the blink of an eye he was gone.  Then I would get the call “He is gone….Do you want us to wait for a while or do you want us to begin to search”.  Needless to say it was very stressful on both parent and staff.  My son also had anger management issues that seem to appear out of no where and Staff were not sure how to handle him.

He has been with CSP for just over three years and what a difference they have made in his life (and ours). I no longer worry about him eloping.  He is where he is supposed to be 24 hours and 7 days a week. The plan that CSP has in effect is just awesome and the communication that I have with them is greatly appreciated.  I have the confidence in his Home Staff that now if my son has a behavior issue arise, that there will be a resolution within minutes and that it will be a “planned” resolution and not a call in the middle of the issue on how we should handle this.

With his movement to CSP he also has had the opportunity to work with a truly wonderful Behavior Analyst, Ms. [Dr.] Tammy Kravits.  She is in the process of helping him learn that he IS in control of his life and that he IS expected to participate in life and this means learning life skills.  The Home Staff at CSP are also greatly appreciated by this parent. Their input and interactions with my son help to make his life (and his families) that much richer.

I would HIGHLY recommend CSP and their support staff to families in need.  My only regret is that we did not find CSP and this level of help sooner in my son’s life.
